3) Hose Weight and Length

When we switched on the water and hooked the 17-foot-long Aterod foldable garden hose to the spigot, it extended to just about 52 feet in length. Its solid brass fittings, built to withstand high water pressure of up to 174 psi, did not leak at the nozzle or spigot connections. Self-locking connections link the fittings to the hose ends for strength and to prevent blowouts. The hose did not appear to be injured by spending a day and night outside, nor did it appear to be hurt when we backed over it with a vehicle.
A nine-function nozzle included with the kit provides the ideal spray pattern for watering the lawn, bathing the dog, or cleaning the windows. We were able to adjust the spray settings by simply rotating the sprayer’s yellow connecting ring. The sole disadvantage was that the shell cloth might not be able to survive dragging across rough surfaces. When completely grown, however, it was powerful and stiff.
